What Listeners Say

"Inspiring, appreciative and meaningful lyrics that touch the heart and that help us stop for a moment to reflect on how important our animal friends are to us. Listening to Sing to the Animals was like taking a course on appreciation and gratitude from a divine teacher. My cat Ashley was so moved that she waltzed into the room, settled into a chair, and didn't budge for an hour the first time I played the CD. I know she appreciated the melodies as much as I did."

Ariadne Green, Author

"Sing to the Animals is soothing music to our ears and the best healing to our hearts. We recently rescued a frightened little dog. He was so scared of humans until we played Nancy's songs, and he walked right in to our home and came to us. Thank you, Nancy."

Celia Lumsden, Homemaker

"In Sing to the Animals, Nancy offers a collection of refreshing and heartfelt original songs of honor for our precious friends in the animal kingdom. The music is easy listening and will bring a smile and a tear or two to all animal lovers. It would be a great addition to a children's library of music to naturally encourage an appreciation of animals."

Dr. Julie Holmes, N.D., Naturopathic Physician

"Heartwarming, healing, sweet songs that all living things will benefit from. What a joy!"

"Nancy Hart has one of the most sweet, angelic voices I have ever heard. Her CD fills the room with an energy of love and joy that permeates your being and transforms your emotions as you listen to her unique lyrics and melody. My little cat loves to come sit on my lap and listen to her songs, too. Soon she is purring in harmony. A gift to her and to me.

But Nancy's music is much more than beautiful song. She is an angelic messenger bringing wisdom to those who are abusive or unconscious of the sacred beings the animals of our planet are…the creation of God. It says in the Bible, 'How you treat the least of these, so do you treat Me.' Thank you, Nancy, for your timely work on Earth.”

Dianne Winter, Correction Center Facilitator and Counselor

"Thank you for your beautiful songs to the animals. What a healing CD you made. My pets and I are feeling you, precious lady. We Love You! Sooo soothing and peaceful as we listen to you. My parrot and four dogs are so relaxed and full of hope now.

Sing to the Animals CD music is awesome. The music not only puts a relaxed, calming, soothing spirit into your life, but the animals pick up the same calming sensation. Sure does create a peaceful environment. I personally light candles when I play the CD. Beautiful atmosphere the music creates.

You're awesome, Lady!

"My Sing to the Animals CD is the most unique and beloved in my collection. The purity of the songs for the animals feels as wondrous as animals do to me. It is so heartwarming and nourishing to spend that 40 minutes listening to these inspiring songs. The lyrics, the beautiful melodies, musicians, and arrangements, Nancy's voice which exudes love, always melt my heart—much the same feeling of that surprisingly delightful place that sweet moments with an animal can do.

Every time I hear it, I just wish that everyone who loves animals could have these songs to cherish and enjoy. I find this CD intrinsically healing because of how relaxed and peacefully joyous I feel when I hear it. I sometimes sing along. Right from the beginning, the songs stayed in my mind and played themselves in my memory. I notice I reach for this CD when I've had a hard day, or am having a hard time facing the busy morning, or when I miss having an animal.

Finally, after countless love songs in the world, here is music of the purest kind of love and appreciation to the animals. The songs also sing of qualities that animals have and inspire in us: being oneself naturally, freedom, and presence, caring to name a few.

I find great inspiration in Nancy herself, whose love of animals emerged as a vision to honor the animals through song, first inspired by her dear cat. She birthed twelve songs on faith, having never written songs before. As if by a miracle, these twelve songs came to her, one at a time, over a short period of time, songs that have all the structure of good songwriting and such delightful, memorable melodies. She then found a quality studio, wonderful studio exec, and some truly wonderful musicians. The musical arrangements are as lovely as the songs themselves.

Nancy put her heart and soul and time into delivering Sing to the Animals to all of us. I hope you love it as much as I do! Thank you and bless you, Nancy Hart!"

"One of my early childhood memories was going to church in Connecticut and gazing lovingly at the statue of St. Francis. He was adorned with birds perched on his shoulders, and rabbits, squirrels and little animals scurrying about. I loved St. Francis and often thought what a wonderful person he must have been to attract animals to him like that.

When I was in 4th grade, I couldn’t wait until lunch was over to race back to class to listen to my teacher, Mrs. Drucker, read to us the wonderful tales of Dr. Doolittle. All of the animals’ colorful adventures filled my child mind with wonder. Now I need to add another milestone to my unforgettable moments of animal memories--hearing Nancy Hart’s Sing to the Animals CD for the first time.

When my dear friend Kathryn gave me Nancy’s CD, I was humbled by the words to her song “Majestic Beauties”. I saw the horses that she was telling us about through her eyes, and I was taken aback. To listen to Nancy sing thanks to these beautiful animals for their presence was awesome. It changed the way I looked at horses. To have the love and reverence for animals that she has, made me want to bow my head, as I had done for the holy people in India. I am not exaggerating. I was truly humbled. I was seeing the horses through Nancy’s eyes, and I felt lifted up. They truly are majestic beings, as are all of God’s creatures.

I call Nancy’s CD “medicine for the soul”. Her music and voice are pure. She inspires me and puts me back on track. I can see this music inspiring people everywhere. Nancy is a blessing to us all. I have sent many of her CDs back home to my family in Connecticut. Young and old are enjoying her healing, soothing ballads. I want to learn “Sing to the Animals” in ASL (American Sign Language), so I can share it with children.

Thanks again, Nancy! Keep singing and writing music!"
